In The Water Theatre Company is a group of theatre artists interested in challenging themselves as theatre-makers while challenging the audiences they serve.  The company aims to work with diverse ensembles hungry to explore each project’s artistic questions.

  Jonathan Taylor is a Director, Theatre Artist, and Dancer. ITW works include  Bacchic ,  Panic Everything  ’  s Fine  and  Un Castillo de Cartas  as director and  Moving Mouths  as a performing ensemble member. His work has been seen throughout the US, Sweden, Italy and Chile. Jonathan Holds a BFA in Theatre Arts from Boston University and is an alumni of The SITI Conservatory.

Short film: Circe (Dungog Film Festival 2010), A Broadband God, Report (Pop Films Australia), 2012 (NAFA). RACHEL C. LUCAS, Managing Director 

Rachel Lucas is a freelance stage manager based in New York. She works mainly in opera but also stage manages new works and events. She received her BFA in Stage Management from Boston University.

Recent acting credits include  Peter and the Starcatcher  (The Winnipesaukee Playhouse),  Sixty Miles to Silver Lake  (Bridge Rep of Boston),  The Donkey Show  (A.R.T.),   Projects   (RaddFest),  The Normal Heart  (Boston University),   Macbeth   and   A Midsummer Night's Dream   (New Repertory Theatre's Classic Repertory Company)  ,   as well as various pieces with In The Water Theatre Co.   Kristian has studied with Double Edge Theatre in Western Massachusetts, L'Accademia dell'Arte in Tuscany, and SITI Company in NYC. Beyond the thetrical realm, Kristian is a DJ and enjoys exploring storytelling through the medium of music mixing. She has her professional education from the physical theatre academy Scuola Teatro Dimitri in Swizz, and is currently active as a performer and creator within the field of dance and physical theatre.

     In 2013 she debuted as a choreographer/director for her own solo-performance Turtleyou! that premiered at Abundance International Dance Festival 2013, and has been performed in several other international festivals and theatres in Sweden and Denmark since then. Juan Diego Bonilla Ibáñez is an actor from Chile with degrees in Stage Design and Vocal Performance. He has worked with Cía. Tercer Abstracto as actor and researcher in “Bermuda”, “Atacama” (Selected on International Festival Santiago a Mil) and “Material Body” (upcoming), with Cía Interno in “Chejov”. Other theater credits include “Que se mueran los feos” (Cía. Los Feos), “Parque San Borja” (Cía. Placer), “La Formula Shakespeare” (Departamento de Teatro), Adam&Evie (SITI Conservatory). Director of Cia. De Subsuelo (Animales a la orilla, Cuando Explote la Tecera Bomba). Recently, he has developed his actor training and knowledge with SITI Company, Eugenio Barba, Julia Varley, Annie Murath and Jonathan Hart Mackwaia and has been invited to participate in Lincoln Center Director’s Lab.
